"Plants vs. Zombies:. Warfare Garden" will receive an online multiplayer mode similar to the franchise "Battlefield", according to an announcement from PopCap Games, the game's developer, the blog of Major Nelson.
Called Gardens and Graveyards, the mode put the same 24 players in the arena in a mixture of Rush and Conquest "Battlefield" modes, according to producer Brian Lindley.
The zombies will try to capture gardens to turn them in cemeteries, while plants must prevent them from reaching the goal. When the zombies manage to capture a "base", the battle will move to another area of the map.
Change in the traditional formula
Revealed at E3 this year, "Plants vs. Zombies:. Warfare Garden" will be a third-person shooter that uses the traditional plants and zombies in a different way from the original game.
