In his Linkedin and Twitter, Todd Papy, former designer of SCEA Santa Monica and director of "God of War: Ascension", has a new employer: Crytek.
The studio is known for CryEngine graphics engine and is the developer of the franchise "Crysis" and the recent "Ryse: Son of Rome", action game exclusive for Xbox One
Papy is listed as "Game Director" in their profiles, and indicates that the project you're working on Crytek has not yet been announced. The designer had announced his departure from Sony in early November
Origins of Kratos
"God of War: Ascension", last project Papy and launched in March this year, shows how the Spartan Kratos became the most powerful servant of Ares, God of War. The game is also notable in Brazil for being the first in the franchise to be dubbed and subtitled in Portuguese.
"God of War: Ascension" is exclusive to PlayStation 3.
