According to Alex Adjaj , director of global strategy for mobile platforms from Namco Bandai , there is a possibility of the series " Dark Souls " appear on mobile platforms . The information was revealed in an interview with Digital Spy .
" We want to bring ' Dark Souls ' to [ platforms ] Mobile , but it's hard because the guys at From Software are very focused to work on the islands ," he said . " It takes a lot to convince them ."
According Adjaj , the development team of the series believes that transport it to the mobile market would cause a change in the control scheme, and " therefore, would not be ' Dark Souls ' " .
The executive himself believes that , if a " Dark Souls " Mobile will happen , certain changes would have to happen to create a greater appeal to consumers of these platforms . "I believe there is a need to change the design of rebalancing character to make it a bit more casual , with sessions [ game ] minors " .
Still, he demonstrates optimistic that the franchise in the mobile market .
The next game of the series, " Dark Souls II " , has release on March 11th for PC , PS3 and Xbox 360 .
