The creator of "Rust", Garry Newman, revealed on Twitter that the game of survival reached more than 1 million copies sold on Steam on Monday (10).
"Guess what happened with 'Rust'," Newman wrote, posting a link on your homepage Steam showing the total number of sales of 1,001,570 units in the game.
Still in Early Stage Access, "Rust" is one of the leading exponents of the genre of 'survival kits', next to "DayZ", another game in development that inspired Newman in his work to.
In a recent update, "Rust" pulled out all the zombies in the game world, making it even more focused on survival, as opposed to style "survival horror" to "Z Day" game that inspired and is the main competitor of "Rust".
"Rust" has reached the milestone of 1 million copies sold in less than two months, since it's on sale on Steam since December 11, 2013
