Square Enix announced on Wednesday (12) that the online RPG Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn "will come to PlayStation 4 on April 14.
The Nipponese producer reported that all owners of PS4 can download the game to test it for two beta phases, the first lasting from February 22 to March 3 and the second 4-7 of April.
The characters created during the second stage of testing may be retained for the official launch of the game on the PlayStation 4, but the characters created in the first phase of testing will be deleted.
Transfer the PC and PS3
Square Enix has confirmed that it will be possible to transfer character data of the PS3 and PC versions for the PS4, but this will only happen during the beta, because this will occur on a different server before launching the game. Once in stores, all editions of "Final Fantasy XIV" will share the same servers.
Owner of "Final Fantasy XIV" on the PS3 may transfer all your data to the PS4 without the need to purchase the game, in a process that will begin on April 11. If the players decide to make this trade, the PS3 edition will be discarded.
If they want to play "Final Fantasy XIV" on both platforms, will be required to purchase an additional copy.
