Apple and Google to reject games "Flappy" in the title
Apple and Google are refusing games developers using the word "Flappy" in the title of your games. Although neither company has officially pronounced, is likely to be trying to control the release of several clones "Flappy Bird" looking to capitalize on the vacuum left by the original.
Independent developer Ken Carpenter posted on his Twitter that his game "Flappy Dragon" was rejected by the App Store for your name to be similar to a popular app - presumably the deceased "Flappy Bird".
The official Twitter Mobile Kuyi indie developer also commented on another busy developer other three games were refused. "Until Google Play is also rejecting apps that use 'Flappy' in the title," he said. "It should be well saturated now."
Some games already released in both digital stores also changed their names, although it is unknown whether it was at the request of companies or own initiative of producers.
