Microsoft has announced via the blog of Larry Hryb, director of programming Xbox Live titles that will be available in December for free for Xbox Live Gold subscribers. They are: "Gears of War" and "Shoot Many Robots".
Game seminal Xbox 360, the first "Gears of War" features the battle between Marcus Phoenix, Dominic Santiago and his companions against the Locust invaders. The shooter diffused graphics engine Unreal Engine and shooting system with coverage, present in many games today.
Besides the campaign, which can be played co-op for 2 people (including offline, playing split screen), "Gears of War" brings multiplayer modes for up to 8 players.
"Gears of War" is available for free download for Gold subscribers from Sunday, December 1st until the 15th.
Killing giant robots
From December 16, the Xbox Live Gold subscribers can download the game "Shoot Many Robots" for free. The Live Arcade game is a cooperative shooter lateral progression for up to 4 players online or two players in local multiplayer.
With guns that shoot all kinds of ammo - bullets to garden gnomes - players face hordes of robots and fights against huge bosses.
After you download the games, it will remain independent of the player end of the Gold subscription. It is worth remembering, to play online on Xbox 360 you must be a subscriber to the service.
