Since the launch of Ouya, developers were required to provide some sort of privilege in their games on the console, as a trial period or a playable demo. Starting in April, however, this type of offer is optional.
The news was announced by director of relationship with developers Ouya, Kellee Santiago, during a panel at GDC in San Francisco. The fair brought together game makers from around the world between 17 and 21 March.
According to Santiago, the decision comes to satisfy a request of developers, thus giving more flexibility to producers.
In addition, the director also announced that a review of the agreements with developers will make exclusive games Ouya pass to make an exception for PCs
