The record was made last November 8 at the Office of Patents & Trademarks of the United States, with the description of "gaming engine software used to design and develop computer games." The Bethesda declined to comment.
The GameSpot also notes that 'id Tech' is the name of a series of engines created by id Software, a company that belongs to Bethesda. The newest engine is developed by them in future releases such as "Wolfenstein: The New Order", "The Evil Within" and "Doom 4".
Bethesda currently working on "The Elder Scrolls Online" and may announce a new game in the series "Fallout" in VGX in December.
